Enhancing the Delivery of Guidance and Employability (EDGE) Project
The EDGE Project is part of the ERASMUS+ EU programme for education and training. EDGE comprises of a partnership between Ireland (co-ordinator), Wales, Austria, Greece and Portugal.
The Project, which is set to last for two years (2015-2017), is geared towards unemployed mature and young adults who are participating on our education and training schemes.
The main focus of the EDGE Project is the exchange of information regarding our employability provision and the development of innovative career guidance tools. Specifically, EDGE will implement the Open Badges system to accredit learner achievment and develop the ePortfolio as an effective way career planning tool. The EDGE Project will also develop guidelines and recommendations for the engagement and retention of poorly motivated learners.
