Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales came into being on the 1st August 2015 through the merger of WEA Cymru and YMCA Wales Community College.

We are a democratic, independent and voluntary movement, committed to widening participation, promoting active citizenship and skills development and providing the best quality learning, through a collaborative approach, working across the whole of Wales.

About the Job 

We are looking for suitably qualified tutors (practitioner level qualification and a minimum level 3 teaching qualification) to plan, develop, teach and evaluate courses and learning programmes in accordance with Learner needs and our Quality Procedures, in support of delivering high quality learning in Carmarthenshire, Pembrokeshire, and Ceredigion for the following subjects:

  • Essential Skills
  • Employability
  • Personal Development 

    As part of the role, you would also attend all relevant tutor meetings and appropriate Accreditation/Moderation meetings and keep up to date with current developments in curriculum or specialist field(s).

    In addition, you would attend and participate in all relevant learner and tutor meetings, attend and input into development/verification and moderation activities, and undertake administrative work in line with regulations for the funding of Addysg Oedolion Cymru | Adult Learning Wales and award of credit to learners.
